Skarn Stone is a subsidiary of Skarn Resources Inc. The name is derived from a metamorphic rock that is variably colored green or red, occasionally grey, black, brown or white. It forms by thermal metamorphism in the contact zone of magmatic rocks like granites with carbonate rocks such as limestone. One could argue that this point of contact is the birthplace of marble!
